Thule Group are now searching for a Simulation Engineer to their Simulation Group in Hillerstorp, close to Värnamo.
Simulations of our products are performed for a global use and the amount of requirements are increasing and the team has to be
strengthened up with a new talented member.
As a Simulation Engineer you will be involved in the development of new products such as equipment for cycling-, water- and winter sports, roof boxes and multi-functional strollers etc.
When developing products at Thule Group you will work towards high requirements and expectations in terms of product functionality, mountability, manufacturability, cost and reliability.
In your daily work you will perform Simulations of components and complete products according the highest standards and demands
from a local legislation perspective.
You will collaborate with team members by planning and follow up results through the development process.
Moreover, as a Simulation Engineer at Thule Group you are responsible for planning and performing CAE analyses, including analyses of results and reports. The responsibilities also include development and documentation of CAE test methods.
You will have a key position in a cross functional project organization and will perform static-, crash- and fatigue analysis using software's like ANSYS, LS-DYNA, ANSA and Mathlab.
There is a high degree of interaction between the project members and you will have daily contacts with; project managers, designers, test engineers, production engineers and time to time also customers and suppliers etc.
In addition to Simulations you will be part of Thule Group's improvement efforts that contribute to improving their own work situation and work processes in relation to internal and external customers.

Your profile:
You are a pro-active enthusiastic person with an entrepreneurial drive, a "can do attitude" and a team player.
We trust you have a structured and professional approach with flexibility in mind and consistent in delivery.
To succeed in this role we believe you have very strong analytical skills, act independently, take initiatives and like challenges.
We expect you have at least 5 years' experience in CAE Analysis with experience in some of the following software's; ANSYS, LS-DYNA, ANSA and/or Mathlab.
Meritorious is previous professional experience in the areas of multibody dynamics as well as being familiar with product development within the automotive industry.
An important requirement is that you have an academic degree in Mechanical engineering or similar, documented technical knowledge as well as fluency in English and Swedish.
