Job description
UniCarriers' vision is to use SharePoint to leverage collaboration and free all types of information across the organization. In order to realize this vision UniCarriers is recruiting a SharePoint Specialist with the desire to be the Subject Matter Expert within the company. Provided you have the genuine enthusiasm for the SharePoint platform, your job will be to oversee all SharePoint areas within the organization. Needless to say this, you will be a key-person within the European organization. As such, your role will involve travelling, though majority of your time will be spent on location in Göteborg.
Working very closely with the Group IT Manager, you will help to design and identify those areas of SharePoint that will help UniCarriers to meet its corporate vision. Passionate about technology, you will monitor market trends and ensure that relevant areas are brought to life for UniCarriers using the latest technologies.
As the subject matter expert, you will take ownership of the SharePoint platform, and forward how the organization uses it. This means everything from finding the right SharePoint suppliers to teaching users on why and how to use SharePoint. In order to forward SharePoint internally, it's important that you are people oriented person who is able to motivate users. You also need to be an experienced project manager and business analyst, able to discuss platform matters with different stakeholders. A top view with an eye to consolidate interfaces with key applications across the 4 current European data centers is required.
Key Responsibilities
Applications, License and Supplier Management:
• Manage current SharePoint partners and decide and look for new ones if needed
• Collaborate with Office365/Microsoft partners and Enterprise agreements related to SharePoint
• Be part of the Office365 team and manage and lead the SharePoint section
Service Effectiveness:
• Work with service desk and infrastructure operations teams to ensure we have the right SharePoint support tools in place to drive efficient service - including the potential automation of procedures
• Review and drive a global approach that meets the needs of all territories across Europe in terms of SharePoint capabilities.
• Input in to the design of Active Directory, external portals, intranet, driving adherence to best practice
Your Professional Experience:
• An expert in SharePoint with minimum of 3 years' experience
• Proven capability in managing and balancing both long term strategy and shorter term planning
• Strong communication and presentation skills with experience working with all levels of an organization
• Proven track record in managing large projects effectively
• Experience working in a global environment across multiple user communities
• Detailed understand of technology and process optimization techniques in standardization, consolidation, simplification and automation in order to drive continuous improvement
• Experience working in an ITIL based environment, and championing a customer focused approach across all IT areas.
• Experience with Enterprise integration between SharePoint and ERP, CRM, and Microsoft Azure will be a good advantage
Your Technical Understanding:
• Whilst this is not a development role, a solid understanding of SharePoint is expected, especially at design level.
• Extensive practical knowledge of Administering/Designing on SharePoint 2013/2010 as well as an awareness of the updates in Office365
• SharePoint Out of the box configuration of sites, web parts, workflow etc.
