The job
We are looking for a reliable service technician to support our customers in Sweden. As a service technician, you will visit our customers, prove service to our analysis equipment as well as installing new equipment. As a part of our service, we offer customer training which will also be part of your daily tasks.
Primary tasks

You will be solving ad hoc tasks while visiting the customers as well as over the phone and via emails. Together with your colleagues, who are based in Sweden, Denmark, UK & Ireland, you will be part of our on-call duty. 40-80 travelling days per year should be expected - sometimes with short notice as per the business needs. Your base will be at your home address - preferable around Göteborg/Jönköping. From time to time, you will support our customers outside Sweden - but your customers will primary be located in Sweden.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a professional within electronics / low current, has a good understanding of problems with hardware and has a minimum of 2 years of experience from a similar position. We constantly improve our devises and therefore you must have a flair for software and an interesting in learning new systems. We use leading edge technology and expect you to be interested in constantly improving our services to the customers. You will primarily communicate in Swedish, but since we are an international company, and you colleagues are placed all over Europe, we expect you to be able to communicate in English - in speech and in writing.
Personal skills
To be successful in this you, you must be systematic, precise, careful, and self-starting. Since your manager is placed abroad, you should demonstrate that you are an 'Independent team player' with a good understanding of working independently as well as helping your colleagues. You will be supported by a coordinator who will have the first point of contact with the customers.

Representing FOSS while visiting our customer, your success is determined by how well you serve the customers. There therefore you should be customer and service oriented, loyal and reliable, able to meet short deadlines as well as handle unexpected problems. You should enjoy the challenge of problem solving and come up with well thought through practical solutions.
