Serviceability & Labs
Serviceability & Labs is an operations backend function within Global Support to make sure technicians have the skills and the tools to provide world class support for QlikView to our customers and partners.
Our areas of responsibility are divided into three topics: Serviceability, Technical Enablement and Labs. These areas are broken down into segments to make sure QlikView is supportable product, to engage in cross-departmental projects, to act on field feedback, to prepare technical readiness & training, to aid & mentor troubleshooting, provide subject matter expertise, handle the on-demand virtual environments and develop tools for technicians.
We offer an extremely challenging and agile position with a chance of working with cutting-edge projects on a global level within QlikTech.
Responsibilities
• Execute & report on projects related to Serviceability
• Participate in content management in our virtualization platform
• Lead & perform technical training for Support technicians
• Act as a troubleshooting mentor and technical backend for technicians
• Identify areas of improvement in product and process for technical support
Your profile
You are a natural born problem solver, a skilled technician and a high-performance achiever with background in software and IT environments. We require of you to propose, drive and take responsibility over multiple global projects ranging over a wide spectrum of expertise. You must be able to comprehend the weight of interaction between technology and people, and see technology as an augmentation rather than a tool.
As we handle areas ranging between training technical staff, developing tools & documentation or building & maintaining platforms to support our Service Desk in their daily work, we need you to be flexible and handle social interaction with ease. Since we work in a multi-language department and in a global company, your English is fluent both written and spoken.
Required skills
• Expert skills in software troubleshooting and technical support
• Extensive experience in administering Microsoft Windows Server
• Experience in virtualization technology
• Basic programming and scripting skills (c#, c++, JavaScript, VB script, or other Windows based script language)
• Experience in software development processes
• Ability to tailor technical information to different audiences
• VMWare experience is meriting
• QlikView experience is meriting
• Project management experience is merited
