At business area Mining, we're expanding our immersive learning technologies, primarily using VR, while other simulator and AR training are also growing. Our future plans include delivering global XR solutions for training and operations. We're now seeking an XR Service Owner to lead and manage a global XR service that is secure, reliable, and scalable.
Why join us?
Join a technology-driven, innovative team that believes in collaboration and doing things differently. You'll find purpose, flexibility, and real impact.
Shape the global delivery of XR training and support solutions
Grow your career by working with cutting-edge technologies and expanding your skillset
Be part of an inclusive culture where your ideas drive change

About the job
As the Service Owner for XR, you own and continuously improve the global XR service covering VR, AR, and blended digital-physical workflows. You coordinate service operations, align stakeholders across divisions, and ensure that devices, platforms, and content come together seamlessly as one secure, scalable ecosystem.
What you'll do
Oversee the XR service lifecycle, roadmap, and operational governance.
Manage platform and device operations, from onboarding to replacement.
Coordinate service delivery, content distribution, and access rights.
Handle incident resolution, requests, documentation, and root cause analysis.
Ensure security, compliance, and data protection across all XR operations.
Onboard and train business stakeholders, guide best practices, and support technical validation of new XR solutions.
Collaborate with IT Sourcing, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Location and flexibility
The position is based in Sandviken or Stockholm, although other locations may be considered for suitable candidates. We offer a hybrid work setup, allowing you to combine office and remote work.
Your profile
You have experience in IT service operations or digital workplace environments, where you have managed platforms, coordinated stakeholders and ensured stable, secure delivery. It's a plus if you've handled XR, VR or AR platforms, training tech, or device management. You don't need experience in VR or XR development, what counts is your ability to manage digital IT services, work across teams, and quickly learn new technologies as they emerge.
We also expect you to bring:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience operating digital services or device management platforms.
Understanding of cloud services, authentication, SSO/MFA, and network performance.
Experience coordinating technical teams and vendors.

You're a structured, proactive communicator who connects with both business and technical audiences. Problem-solving comes naturally, collaboration energizes you, and you drive change without needing formal authority.
Our culture
Our role is clear - through every action, every day, we make the shift and advance the world through engineering. We believe in an inclusive, equal and open-minded culture, and we nurture our diversities to form a solid foundation for achieving great results.
