JOB DESCRIPTION
As Service Manager you will have the main responsibility for our Global Technical Service offering and you will manage the offering strategy, planning, design, marketing and roll-out into the regions. In this role you will have a strong focus on promoting the Technical Service offering internally and to the market. You will build new service offerings based on market feedback and in cooperation with sales, operations and marketing. As Service Manager is a senior position you are expected to take lead, drive service roll-out plans and market activities and be the driver for change and improvements.
In the position you will have a close relation with Technical Service Managers globally to secure our service offering. To reach out you will work with the marketing department defining marketing messages and activities and to utilize our high service level in our brand value.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Drive the development of Axis Technical Services
• Excellent understanding of the aftermarket needs including support and hardware services
• Define strategy and roadmap for our Technical Services
• Define services to meet and fulfill the strategy and roadmaps 
• Take an active part in market and sales activities to promote Axis Technical Services
• Inform and train our sales organization in our Technical Services
• Follow performance and cost to motivate our aftermarket investments
The position requires some travel, up to 40 days/year.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a driven manager with excellentunderstanding of business and market dynamics. You have a relevant Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent knowledge level and minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Manager or a similar position. Demonstrated success in driving or structuring aftermarket services is considered as a merit.
You have the ability to work in a small and tight team as well as in a big cross organizational network. You are fluent in English and Swedish is advantageous, but not necessary. You’re socially skilled and able to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with international contacts.
Furthermore we believe you’re always open to customers and colleagues and have a structured way of solving and attacking tasks and issues. You also have a flexible mindset, enjoy high pace and are open to change.
As Service Manager it is important to appreciate a truly global market with cultural differences, to understand their needs and be able to specify supporting services for both partners and end-customers. You must have broad experience from business and services in a high technology market, preferably with an indirect sales model.

The Global Technical Services team (GTS) is our center of the global technical service network and the Service Manager is the driver of strategy, structure and change. Together with sales, operations and marketing and the tight GTS team you will develop aftermarket services which are an important part of our added value.
This is a self-governed position but with high requirements on delivery, responsibility, the ability to coordinate and to drive others. In short - a senior position. You will be able to build an extensive and global network and greatly influence our Technical Service offering.   
TEAM TECHNICAL SERVICES
Technical Services is a virtual organization within Axis and focuses on aftermarket support to our partners and end-customers and occupies around 70 people in different positions across the whole organization. GTS is the driver for change and development.
System & Services, of which GTS is part, is globally responsible for the service offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for system functions and software, design and coordination responsibility for service and support offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters.
