Service Manager - ServiceNow
SAS IT & Digital Innovation is responsible for all IT within Scandinavian Airlines.
The organization has 120 employees and is located at SAS Head Office at Frösundavik in Solna, just outside Stockholm. The organization is divided in 6 main departments and in the role as Service Manager - ServiceNow you report to Head of Service Management.
SAS is a technology leader and has a long history of developing innovative solutions that have revolutionized the airline industry. In recent years, we have developed an innovative production model to create flexibility and efficiency while providing the best customer experience.
As Service Manager you will have the responsibility of managing the full service delivery of ServiceNow. This includes development activities, understanding business needs and setting the roadmap ahead. You are responsible for ensuring and supporting an efficient and effective IT delivery process, based on best practice and SAS standards.
Some of your responsibilities:
End-to-end responsibility for the ServiceNow platform
Lead and manage application maintenance and support
Drive continuous improvement of the ServiceNow implementation, by collaborating with process owners within Service Management team and other important stakeholders
Maintain a roadmap for the platform
Understanding of license model and usage
Ensure business expectations of service delivery are met or exceeded
Be a sparring partner in all Service Now development.
Financial Manager - Responsible for all costs and budgets relating to the application portfolio in the Service area
Supplier Manager - Responsible for all external IT-contracts and agreements in the Service area
Service Level Manager - Responsible for daily IT-services, delivery, and service delivery level in the Service area
Business Relationship Manager - Responsible for business collaboration and business satisfaction in the Service area
Demand Manager - SPOC for all business change requests and project demands in the Service area
Who are you?
Result and solution oriented person with a strong ability to take own initiatives
Knowledge of application maintenance
Knowledge of agile and traditional development methodology
Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform
Certified of the ITIL Framework
Knowledge of Lean
Fluent professional English in speech and writing
Fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages, and good understanding of other Scandinavian languages
Experience and background:
Solid experience in working with ITSM tools, especially ServiceNow.
Experience of acting as delivery responsible in an outsourced environment
Experience from a similar position in a large organization, with an overall accountability/responsibility for IT-services and delivery, provided by external suppliers
Experience of business relationship management
Experience of supporting business representatives in relevant business processes
Experience of financial management, including cost budget responsibility
Experience of supplier management, including governance of outsourcing and off shoring
Experience from application maintenance and demand management, including continuous improvement
Experience of project governance and applying project methodology

About our Office
Frösundavik is a great place to work. There is a gym, restaurant, café and a variety of services to make your life easier. It's located in a green area of Solna and close to Hagaparken and Brunnsviken. There's a non-stop bus connection from the Central Station to Frösunda and commuter trains to/from Solna Station. Of course, cycling is another option and many of us enjoy the scenic route to the office every day.
