As a result of our growing customer needs to ensure maximum lifecycle utilization of their equipment, we are looking for a Global Services Logistics Strategy Leader. The Services Logistics Strategy Leader will manage and create the logistics strategy for Global Services.

What you'll do
This role leads efforts to map out the current state (wing2wing process) and apply lean/six sigma methodologies to drive continual improvements to cycle times. IT systems including: Magic/Oracle/TMS/ServiceMax, both enhancements + interfaces. Process-driven changes and warehouse-specific needs for range of all global parts transactions: order, ship/delivery, returns, transfers, etc.
Responsible for creating a Services Logistics Network Design strategy. Formalize analysis and recommendations for executive summaries and decision making.
Drive strong collaboration efforts and partnerships across Global Service organization (i.e. Regions, Product Management, Technology Ops) and various cross-functional teams (i.e. Customized Bioprocess Solutions (CBS), Automation & Digital, R&D, Quality/Regulatory, Supply Chain, Warehouses & Sourcing)
Work in close partnership with the Supply Chain Logistics & Fulfillment Team to identify and execute ongoing logistics initiatives to optimize our logistics footprint to support our business growth and customer commitments.
Ensure regular communication to key stakeholders and end users (Service Managers/Field Engineers)
Actively participate in global/regional/customer meetings and annual processes as appropriate
Perform Shipping Lane analysis and determine whether SLA can be achieved.
Lead projects within the Service Supply Chain to improve delivery performance.
Monitor parts and inventory key performance indicators (KPI) & associated metrics to position same-day-shipping as standard way-of-working keeping "same-day-shipping" at forefront
Manage the Services Job Jar funnel and ensure the IT system needs are delivered on time.
Develop effective operating mechanisms and visibility to day-to-day logistics performance to drive proactive resolutions for both internal and external customer orders.
Create case management cases as needed to address warehouse/carrier quality concerns.
Act as escalation point to respond and resolve issues requiring management intervention
Support inventory optimization initiatives. Participate in analytics, planning for operations, budgetary and mid/long term strategies/goals.
Develop and maintain quality-controlled processes/SOPs.
Leverage DBS as appropriate.
Travel as needed - 15-20%.

Who you are
Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering or a related field of study with a minimum of 5 years experience in an operations, field service or similar role.
Strong focus on meeting customer needs with high quality. On time and damage free.
Experience of working in a global environment within supply chain & logistics.
Experience in Supply Chain Modeling & simulations.
Demonstration of innovation and adaptability to further advance business operations and customer experience
Communicates effectively at all levels of the organization. Expresses ideas clearly and simply both verbally and in writing. Promotes timely, ongoing flow of information to others. Communicates and listens effectively to develop and maintain key business relationships.
Understanding issues at a region level but also able to see the bigger picture relevant to organization on a global scale.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams etc.), e-mail, web browsers and spreadsheet software
Strong Command of the English language both written and spoken
Desirable: Prior knowledge with Oracle and Qlik tools
Desirable: Knowledge of DBS tools and understanding of Cytiva products

This position can be located anywhere in the EMEA region or in the US
