JOB PROFILE: SERVICE ENGINEER
ROLE RESPONSIBILITY
The candidate will be directly and / or through collaborators, responsible for the technical assistance & maintenance management to provided to the customers of the System subsidiary based in Scandinavia.
The Service Engineer will achieve the given objectives related to:
• Technical assistance & maintenance management
• Plant performance reporting.
• Education & training of technicians and customer care employees.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualification
Degree in Electronics/Informatics Engineering (3-5 years) or similar with at least 2-3 years of experience in programming (PC), preferably gained in a modern and structured environment of industrial automation companies.
Knowledge / Technical Skills
Must have:
• Knowledge of PLC systems, fieldbus and automation components typical of Robotics
• Knowledge of communication protocols between different devices (preferably Ethernet-TCP-IP)
• Good Knowledge of Windows (preferably XP and Vista).
• Good knowledge and skills of Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Good to have:
• Good Knowledge of the C++ programming language - Visual Studio environment
• Good knowledge and ability to use relational databases (preferably SQL 2005 or SQL Server)
Soft skills required:
• Good ability to work in teams
• Good communication skills to establish strong relationship
• Basics of project management
• Precision / accuracy
• Good knowledge of English
Willingness to travel required (world wide): 6 months / year but most travelling will take care within the Nordic countries
