As a Senior Tools Programmer you are a crucial member of the engine tools team. When working in this team you will define, design and develop our next generation tools, workflows and pipelines. You will also work closely with senior technical management to refine the vision, strategy and roadmaps for the Avalanche Engine.
To be successful in this role you should be able to analyze and optimize complete workflows and data pipelines, from source asset authoring all the way to the final running game.
Being a part of the engine team also means that many developers will rely on your expertise and the output of your work. The optimal candidate thrives under such circumstances.

Required Qualifications
Passion for making great games
Excellent programming skills in C/C++
5+ years of professional tools development
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Bachelor's degree in software engineering/computer science or equivalent experience
Desired Qualification
Windows application development
Qt development
Automated software testing (e.g. TDD)
Strong programming skills in Python and Lua
Understanding of typical UX principles and how to apply them to tools
