Scope of Responsibility / Expectations

The Senior Test Engineer will work closely with the system developers and also in cooperation with the rest of the test team in an Agile environment. Our team of testers support developers and the product teams with rapid feedback on the quality of the product. The Senior Test Engineer needs to understand both the product and the customer needs. Contact with teams in other parts of the world can also be a part of the daily work. Your work includes software testing as well as installation and configuration to perform the tests. Through troubleshooting you work with and ensure the quality required to create an outstanding product before it is released to customers.

Senior Test Engineers exhibit patience and curiosity with a good ability to learn new technologies and their user environments quickly. To thrive in the role, it is important that you are independent and have the ability to work both individually and in groups. You are outgoing and comfortable with people around you and are a good listener.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a systematic, creative and analytical approach to problem solving and solution delivery as well as being a team player capable of working well within a team environment.

Specific Knowledge/Skills

• Experience with both manual and automated testing
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge and experience with agile methods
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix
• Experiences of Java, JavaScript
• Experience of MySql
• Experiences of Scrum and other agile methods
• Excellent command of English language
• Personal drive to share knowledge and learn together
• Language requirements are English and Swedish
