We are looking for a Senior Technical Lead within Cloud & Infrastructure for a long term assignment (1 year) with start as soon as possible. This role is suited for an experienced technical leader who combines strategic responsibility with hands-on implementation in complex hybrid infrastructure environments.
About the assignment
In this role, you will take a leading position in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure solutions. The assignment plays a key role in driving a cloud-first strategy, with a strong emphasis on automation, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with a Product Owner and a team of engineers, contributing both as a technical authority and as an active, hands-on contributor. The role requires a strong engineering background and the ability to balance long-term architectural thinking with day-to-day execution. Responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Lead, you will have broad responsibility across cloud and infrastructure domains, including: * Acting as the primary technical authority within a hybrid cloud environment
• Leading architectural design and technical decision-making for both cloud and on-premises infrastructure
• Collaborating closely with the Product Owner to align technical priorities with roadmap and business objectives
• Designing and implementing Azure-based infrastructure, including Kubernetes platforms such as AKS
• Ensuring smooth integration between cloud services and on-premises systems
• Establishing and maintaining monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
• Driving Infrastructure as Code and automation initiatives using tools such as Terraform and Bicep
• Improving deployment and operational workflows through CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Contributing to cost awareness and optimization of infrastructure solutions
• Mentoring engineers and promoting best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
• Participating in technical forums and communities to support alignment and innovation
Required experience
To be successful in this role, you bring extensive hands-on experience and a strong technical foundation, including:
* Deep expertise in Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration, including Kubernetes
• Proven experience working with Infrastructure as Code frameworks such as Terraform and Bicep
• Solid understanding of on-premises infrastructure and hybrid integration patterns
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
• A strong DevOps mindset, with experience supporting developer teams and productivity tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise
• Recent hands-on involvement in operational and infrastructure-heavy environments
