Do you want to be part of a team of highly skilled system specialists that keep our extensive SD-WAN network up and running? If you are, we are looking for someone that have an extensive experience from managing IP networks and are looking to evolve your skillset by getting hands-on experience with SD-WAN platforms and solution.
What will you do?
As our new Senior System Specialist for SD-WAN you will work closely with SD-WAN engineering team to get in-depths knowledge and training in the platform. You will be required to take tasks in the engineering team as well as take certifications relevant for advanced troubleshooting on the SD-WAN platforms and products. After a 6-12 months period of training and learning-by-doing, you and your colleagues will be transferred to the SD-WAN competence center in Uppsala, responsible for operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of the platforms.

About the team

We work cross-borders as one team, with shared product and platform development teams and local customer solution teams. You will be part of the pan nordic SD-WAN Engineering team, working closely with your Swedish, Norwegian and Danish colleagues.
Roles and Responsibilities
As Senior System Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing and executing on the following responsibilities:
• Troubleshooting faults in our SD-WAN network
• Problem management
• Perform (proactive) maintenance tasks
• Vendor management
• Maintain technical documentation
• Technical project participation
• On-call duty

Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a demonstrated experience from working with large-scale networks. You are structured and precise, have a solid sense of responsibility and able to work both in teams and individually. It is preferred that you have the following competences:
• BA or Masters in engineering. Extensive experience can compensate for lack of formal education
• Minimum 5 year of proven experience network solutions
• Certification(s) on one or more of these vendors; Versa Networks, Cisco, Juniper
• Driver's license class B
• Knowledge of the ITIL processes
• Structured and meticulous mindset
• Possible to obtain governmental security clearance
• As part of working with the SD-WAN platforms, some tasks require you to work some nights and addition be part of a weekly on-call duty.
