This role entails working with a wide variety of tasks, ranging from detailing customer requirements, design, implementation and testing. Work is done in small teams, in close cooperation with other developers as well as testers, product managers, technical writers and support staff. As our organization is truly international, you can expect frequent interaction with other offices as well as some degree of travel.

Job Description - Senior System Engineer
As a system developer in the Market Connectivity Team you will get the chance to develop state of the art market connections towards stock exchanges and clients worldwide. All development is done in Java and it's highly focused on performance and big amounts of data. As a developer you will join a team of highly experienced and senior developers.

The team work agile in Scrum and with Test Driven Development. TDD and Clean Code are two very important factors when developing these critical systems.

Basic requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience of system development within the C family (C/C++, C# and Java). Preferably Java since that is the language of choice.

• Msc or a higher technical education

• Fluent in the Swedish and English language

• The will and ambition to learn and develop as a system programmer.

• Interested in learning development of complex software products with high demands on
performance and reliability

• Experience of development in the .NET framework, especially WPF.

• Experience from development of financial trading systems.

• Experience of software product development.

As a person, you are self-starting, well structured, a good communicator and keen to take on the challenges of working in a highly distributed environment. You are well accustomed to agile development and think that unit testing is a natural part of software development.
