The Section Security and Body Electronics is responsible for design, implementation and verification of software and hardware for functionality in the Central Electronic Module (CEM). The section is also responsible for functionality and components within Alarm, Remote and Immobilizer systems as well as the electrical system solutions for Exterior Light, Visibility, Sound Signalling and Locking. The section is part of the unit Electrics/Electronics & E-Propulsion and consists of around 60 people working in four different groups.
As a Senior Software Developer within the the group Body Electronics SW you will be responsible for the development and quality assurance of the application SW for Central Electronic Module (CEM) in the next generation of cars. The Central Electronic Module (CEM) contains mainly the car's basic functionality such as locking, exterior light, sound signalling, visibility etc. The group is developing the application models in Matlab / Simulink, according to the AUTOSAR standard. In this position you will work closely together with the system designers and testers, within the section and other sections.
Main responsibilities
• Receive and review requirements and solutions targeted to CEM
• Develop SW models in Simulink that fulfill agreed requirements
• Verify/test that the models meet the requirements on the unit level
• Discuss with the supplier / system designer solutions and necessary changes
• Responsible for the change management at model level
Required qualifications
• Master of Science in Electrical, Computer, Engineering Physics or equivalent education at university level
• At least 5 years of professional experience in using development / simulation tools such as Matlab / Simulink
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR
• Knowledge of ISO26262
• Experience in developing software algorithms and specifications
• Fluent in English
• Driving license B
• Experience from Body & Security area will be an advantage
• Good knowledge in plugin development in Eclipse is meritorious
• Good knowledge of programming languages C, C ++, Python and Experience in developing functionality in embedded control systems is meritorious
