To strengthen our operational capabilities, we have merged our separate Project and Program Management Offices (PMO) into one corporate unit - with the ambition to support the overall portfolio and deliver business value for the entire organization. Our goal is to enhance quality in project deliveries and increase precision in planning, forecasting and budgeting, along with increasing the knowledge and skills within Project and Portfolio Management at Seco.
We offer you a great opportunity to join our team of Project Managers, Change Managers and Portfolio Coordinators, as we are now looking for two Senior Project Managers to ensure world-class delivery of projects on a global stage. This is a versatile role with close relation to our business processes, and you are often involved in the whole chain - from initiation of projects and assignments, to closing and doing follow-ups - giving you great opportunities to influence your own work. You are responsible for managing large scale, cross-border and cross-functional projects, leading international teams with different organizational backgrounds and driving change in multiple stakeholder environment.
The location for this position is in Fagersta.
Key performance areas
In this role, you are fully responsible for managing all aspects of large complex projects: including securing resources, scheduling, budgeting, detailing requirements, change management, progress reporting and financial follow-up, as well as analyzing and dealing with potential risks. You engage, collaborate and communicate with all stakeholders connected to the project. You also contribute with your knowledge in different project management techniques and use your expertise in mentoring others. Additionally, you support our PMO in setting clear goals and maintaining strategies for improvement of processes, methods and models based on business needs.
In this position, you report directly to the Manager of Seco PMO.
Your profile

You have a university degree within Business Administration, Engineering or IT, and at least seven years' relevant experience from managing projects in global organizations with virtual teams. Experience of cross-functional organizations and manufacturing industries, agile methodologies and PM accreditation - such as Agile, Scrum, PMI, IPMA or similar - is an advantage in this position. You are skilled in Office 365 and have hands-on experience from PMM systems. We act in a cross-cultural, global and very dynamic environment, which calls for fluency in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
