The challenging complexity of farm design, the vast variety in local conditions, and the support of a global market leader, make this a unique position for an experienced dairy designer or agricultural engineer with the rignt personal abilities. This position will further strengthen our customer support within the planning & design of dairy farms. Our team is an internal support unit located at the DeLaval global headquarters in Tumba, Sweden.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide support to local entitles with the planning and design of larger dairy farms.
• Responsible for communicating the customers (Internal/External) both in person (on the farms) as well as over the phone.
• Give key input to set the demands in farm design.
• Support in key customer sales presentations.
• Express planned farm designs using modern CAD tools.
EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND
• Degree in technical, agricultural, engineering and/or animal husbandry, or other relevant area.
• 5-7 years of experience in a closely related environment.
• Prior experience with AutoCAD Architecture and visualize with Accurender.
• Persuasive communicator in one-on-one, small group, or large group settings.
• Ability to work with a diverse workforce with cross-cultural experiences.
• Self motivated and driven by winning in the market place.
• Ability to travel up to 50% globally.
• Adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic invironment.
COMPETENCIES
A successful candidate will have the ability to serve as a dairy consultant - understanding the issues on the farm and providing appropriate solutions based on DeLaval's product lines. This person will be responsible for the design and layout of the dairy farm using AutoCAD and bringing the discussions to life.
