AstraZeneca Lund Permanent position Description As a
senior Programmer you represent CIS Programming in Clinical projects. You
participate in the planning of clinical studies, is responsible for
consistencies in the data model and you creates and documents databases for
analysis of clinical data. The purpose is to guarantee that the collected
information can be used for reporting of the study but also as the basis for
applications and other research. The Arena As one of the world's

areas of healthcare. CIS Programming is a part of AstraZeneca Research &
Development department and is focused on planning and preparing of data from
clinical projects. You will work in teams in close collaboration with Data
Management, Bio statistics and Medical Communications & Document Management. A
great deal of the sections development work is conducted globally together with
our sister-sections in UK and US. In Sweden, the CIS Programming section
consists of approx. 60 persons distributed in Lund, Mölndal and Södertälje. At
the moment, we are searching for Senior Programmer. The role You
will within one or more clinical projects: . Be responsible for programming
issues in a global team run by a CIS Director . Actively plan and lead
programming deliverables with agreed resources within fixed timelines and
adequate quality . Continuous be responsible for resource planning and
follow-up . Interpret the customers needs to data structures . Be
responsible for consistency in the data model in agreement with established
programming standards . Be responsible for creating and documentation of
databases for analysis of clinical data . Participate in planning and
creation of report prototypes Minimum experience/requirements .
IS/IT degree, statistical degree or other natural science degree or equivalent
at a university level plus some years experience of working in a related field.
• Adequate experience of the drug development process. . Experience of
SAS programming . Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred experience/requirements . Experience from working in an
international research environment . Strong skills in project leadership
• Good personal organiser . Strong analytical ability . Great
attention to detail . Extensive experience of SAS programming.
