Within the Volvo Energy Sales and Services team, we hold the responsibility to commercialize the Volvo Branded Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) offering, both to existing customers and new customer groups. Our Battery Energy Storage Systems will support e-mobility and charging, provide temporary power supply as well as optimize commercial and industrial sites when it comes to decarbonizing and lowering energy costs.

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven, and proactive person with a passion for the industry to lead our marketing strategies. Responsible for developing and executing innovative strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and increase sales.

Youu will be given a unique opportunity to shape and drive the early development of this new business for the Volvo Group, together with the leadership team and a set of skilled and committed colleagues. We will work on solutions that will drive economically viable circularity and take us to a sustainable future.

You will have a central role in creating, anchoring and executing Volvo Energy BESS Sales and Marketing roadmap. You will lead the development and implementation of the BESS Marketing & Communications Plan to support the overall business goals of Volvo Energy Sales and Services. You will be instrumental in the Sales team for the product launches, and you will work closely with the Communications team.

With multiple projects running at once, we are looking for someone to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude and self-disciplined approach taking ownership, providing solutions and alternatives.

Key responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, including product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
* Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across all channels to strengthen brand equity.
* Oversee the creation of marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
* Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive sales and customer engagement.
* Plan and launch marketing campaigns highlighting product features such as durability, safety, performance, and sustainability.
* Create compelling product positioning and value propositions tailored to various customer segments.
* Develop educational content to showcase technical expertise and promote product benefits.
* Provide training to ensure product knowledge and effective promotions.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities.
* Use insights to adapt strategies and recommend innovative solutions.
* Lead planning and execution of events, trade shows, and sponsorships to showcase products and enhance brand visibility.
* Coordinate product demonstrations and customer engagement initiatives during events.
* Work closely with internal teams, and external stakeholders and agencies to align marketing efforts with business goals.
* Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.

Qualifications:
* Several years of experience in marketing, preferably in BESS/Energy or related industry.
* Exceptional communication, collaboration, leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions. Commercial acumen
* Strong management level stakeholder relationships
* Proven expertise in digital marketing, campaign management, brand positioning and product launches
* Skilled in planning and conducting sales training
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
* Ability to manage budgets and multiple projects simultaneously.
* Familiarity with marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms
* Self-propelled, having ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.

Experience on battery-based energy storage systems and contracting from a technical and commercial perspective would be beneficial.
