The products you will work with are based on short-range radio technologies, e.g. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, Matter etc. and we provide it to the B2B market as wireless modules which are easy to integrate, fully tested and certified. For our customers this means reduced time-to-market, less investments, and less need for deeper competences in wireless technology domain, instead customer focus can be on the product and application.
You will be part of our Product strategy team, your focus area will be product marketing and you will become one of our first point of contact for sales regions, distribution partners and segment/application marketing. You will work with product manager colleagues, sales organizations, distribution partners, other product centers, to grow our business further. You will build market knowledge, participate in various studies, be part of the product center's go to market plans and roadmap process proposing new products and offerings as applicable. Together with the sales teams you will create demand and secure design wins, keep distributors up to date on our portfolios, create eco-system and partner network where needed. Based on your background and profile you may also take on product ownership role for products in our portfolio.
You will have a broad network within the company e.g. product strategy colleagues, sales, marketing, R&D, application engineering and management functions at various levels. Externally you will interface with customers, distributors, suppliers, and eco-system partners.
Responsibility areas:
Product marketing towards the target markets from the product center point of view
Be the daily entry point on portfolio level, for regional sales teams and segment/application marketing
Establish market knowledge, with respect to short range radio technology aspects, i.e. trends, competition, TAM/SAM, market requirements
Work with sales to win major opportunities, engage suppliers and partners as needed
Pro-actively keep distributors up to date, well-educated on our portfolios, and maintain visibility within the distributor channels
Propose new offerings, products and reference designs based on market input
Grow and maintain eco-system and partnerships, joint offerings and marketing
Develop necessary marketing tools - e.g. white papers, articles, webinars, presentations, demos, videos
Active contributor and participant in market campaigns, events, fairs and shows
Product ownership is a potential area, depending on experience and background
Your background to be successful:
Master of Science or similar (e.g. electrical engineering, computer science), additional education in business and/or marketing is an advantage
Experience (10 years) from product marketing, business development and similar within B2B, wireless/electronics business
Knowledge in wireless technologies e.g. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular etc. as well as an understanding for software aspects
Knowledge and experience from semiconductor and/or wireless module industry is an advantage
Capability to easily create understanding of technical aspects/complexity combined with a business-oriented mindset
Good ability in building relationships and networking
Experience from working with distribution channels, is an advantage
Experience from product management and product ownership is an advantage
Well-organized, interested in dealing with both strategic topics as well as detailed operational and technical topics
Self-motivated, positive mindset, takes initiative and responsibility in your work area
Team player experienced in multi-site, international and cross-disciplinary organizations
Excellent communication, presentation skills and proficient in English
Travels, varies over time but up to around 25%
