hela Sverige This is an opportunity to join our growing high voltage team and stay ahead of the curve in a very competitive E-mobility - developing ground-breaking technology as our new "David" Inverter.
The Koenigsegg Electronics department is responsible for designing and developing software, electronic control units (ECU) and supporting tools for all Koenigsegg's cars. We are working very closely with the other engineering departments, production and service/aftersales. We are now looking to expand the team with skilled and experienced electronics design engineers with the ability to transform product requirements and production needs to state of the art solutions and to also further advance the electronics and electrical architecture in our cars.
The responsibilities associated with this position put a strong requirement on your ability to cooperate with other departments in other technical domains. The development activities are primarily focused on designing Power Electronics like Inverters.
Responsibilities
- Developing high power, high voltage traction inverter using latest SiC technology
- Generate circuit design specifications and requirements
- Preparing test plans and active participation in testing process
- Close collaboration with mechanical engineers to provide most efficient packaging compliant with high voltage, EMC and thermal requirements
- Defining requirements for suppliers and close collaboration with them on providing best possible product
- Support design reviews and DFMEAs
- Support and mentor young engineers
Need to have
- Experience in developing power electronics for automotive (especially traction inverters and DCDC)
- Good understanding of EMC requirements and challenges for automotive applications
- Familiarity with high voltage design rules and standards e.g. IEC 60664
- Understanding of the theory and application of magnetics and capacitors in power electronics systems
- Experience in developing systems compliant with functional safety requirements (ISO 26262)
- Basic understanding of control theory and motor control algorithms
- Proficiency in schematics and PCB layout design (Altium experience preferable)
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and testing PCBs
- Experience with high voltage testing (<1000V)
- Motivated active collaborator
- Very good technical communication
- A detail-oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills
Meritorious
- Matlab/Simulink experience
- Previous experience on working with high power SiC MOSFETS
