hela Sverige To ensure the roll out, deployment and performance of the core Planning, Scheduling & Resource Planning (PSRP) processes in RCS.
To work closely with Group PM to ensure the success of the Bombardier Integrated Planning solution based on Primavera.
To drive the use of Primavera for scheduling in RCS by facilitating training and communication programs, and coaching and supporting project managers to ensure improvement of estimates and robustness of plans leading to on-time delivery of RCS projects and alignment with Group objectives in the area of Project Management and scheduling.
To maintain and develop the interface to the various departments of RCS via direct contact and support, the Key User network and close cooperation with PMO in order to ensure that Primavera delivers the outputs that stakeholders expect and require.
To support and coach Project Managers in improvement of estimates and robustness of plans encouraging to on-time delivery of RCS projects.
To maintain the Key User Network, close cooperation with PMOs, direct contact and support with various departments of RCS to retain and progress the interface ensuring that Primavera meets the expectances and requirements of stakeholders
Key responsibilities:
Scheduling
• Proactively improve the quality of scheduling in RCS, including intervention i.e. coaching, training in the occasions that requires to increase the level of performance and the quality of the data.
• Ensure the deployment and the performance of best-practice scheduling in RCS as a standardized procedure instead of an exceptional process.
• Ensuring deployment and performance of core Planning, Scheduling & Resource Planning processes in RCS.
• Monitoring projects and ensuring alignment to the relevant processes. Providing first level support and training to users in RCS via Key Users and based on standardized support material.
• Coordinate with BT Group Project Management in scheduling improvement process across all Divisions.
Resource management
• Analyze future competence and capacity needs based on Strategic plans.
• Evaluate resource availability on a mid-term perspective (6-18 months).
• Support resolution of staffing conflicts.
• Ensure that a common standardized process for role and resource allocation and planning is released and used in the organization.
Key user network
• Establish and lead an effective cross-functional Key User network for support and improvement of PSRP in RCS.
• Actively participate in the PCC Network managed by Group PM with counterparts across BT, fostering exchange on best practices and channeling information back from the key users.
• Ensure development of planners across RCS by organizing and carrying out related trainings.
Data Management
• Ensure that Primavera data (portfolio, project, resource) for RCS is current and high quality. Ensure the timely submission of timesheets, the possibility of rejection if required, and the smooth transfer of hours from the interface tools to the ERP systems.
Project Support
• Provide specialist support to Critical Projects of RCS in the area of Planning, Scheduling & Resource Planning
• Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant discipline.
• Relevant experience in using and administering tools, especially Primavera Enterprise.
• Experience in scheduling and control of large projects in an international environment.
• Experience of process and tools development.
• Have an excellent understanding of technical and commercial constraints, and the ability to adapt plans and priorities to produce innovative solutions to operational challenges.
• A driven and proactive individual with excellent time management skills.
• Demonstrates a strong communication, diplomacy and leadership skills to influence others with professionalism.
• Must be fluent in English - both spoken and written.
