Our Commercial Business Services team is a key component of our organization, focused on sales enablement and comprised of several specialized departments. These departments include Market Access & Health Economics, Market Insights and Analytics, Marketing Communications, Sales & Marketing Academy, Digital Commercial Excellence, and Marketing Governance & Technology.
Currently we are building our new Market Insights and analytics department for Care Enablement, which means that you will have the unique opportunity to shape your role. The Sr. Manager, Pricing Sales and Tender Analytics works closely with a variety of teams and is responsible for driving pricing and profitability through sales, tender, and pricing analysis.
This is a standalone advisory position including operation, tactical and strategical tasks. Driving unbiased insights about our customers and sales analytics, while embodying our core values. This role partners and works across med-tech products organization surfacing actionable insights that can be implemented into the business. You will report to the Head of Market Insights & Analytics. This position can be based anywhere in Europe.
Tasks
• Collect and analyze essential tender, bundled deals, and sales data specifications to enhance our competitive intelligence and drive commercial excellence.
• Promote knowledge sharing of pricing best practices for bundled products, tender approaches, tender databases, and e-catalogues.
• Continuously perform sales pricing analytics to gain insights into the factors influencing pricing decisions and develop strategies to effectively support bundled sales management.
• Supervise the collection and processing of data into structured formats suitable for evaluation purposes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gain insights into pricing dynamics and establish strategic pricing guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with relevant functions to gain a comprehensive understanding of CRM systems and deliver actionable analytics to support Commercial and Sales teams.
• Tackle complex issues that demand a deep understanding of organizational objectives, leveraging extensive project/process responsibility within the function.
• Deliver sales analytics to empower the sales teams, including performing sales segmentation, conducting in-depth analysis, and providing actionable insights.
• Demonstrate adeptness in influencing and gaining buy-in from others in sensitive situations, while preserving positive stakeholder relationships. Regularly engages with senior management and executive levels on matters concerning multiple functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
• Collaborate with finance and commercial organizations to develop comprehensive business and financial models that serve as sales and profitability analyses for the product portfolio.
• Collaborate with the assigned function to drive strategic priorities for training needs and provide sales training analytics to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.
• Understand & partner with organizations to uniquely support CRM, Sales leads, and training analytics.
• Gain a deep understanding of profitability models for top countries and clusters to drive innovative ideas and strategies.
• Promote a mindset that goes beyond the number of sales and focuses on driving ROI by establishing connections between marketing, communications, events activities, and sales.
• Collaborate closely with countries, regions, and commercial organizations to provide strategic sales analytics support, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Profile

· Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science) or equivalent work experience.
• Proven track record in pricing sales and tender analytics, demonstrating expertise in analyzing pricing data and developing successful pricing strategies.
• Experience working in an international med/tech organization, understanding pricing dynamics and pricing analysis in a global context.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including countries, regions, and commercial organizations.
• Proven experience working with BI dashboards and handling complex datasets.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, R-Studio, and other data modelling languages.
• Ability to run statistical models and identify correlations in sales and marketing data.
• Familiarity with SAP and other pricing-related databases and analytics tools.
• Proficient in SQL and working with large sets of unstructured data.
• Proficiency in conducting strategic sales analytics, utilizing data-driven insights to support decision-making and drive business growth.
• Strong knowledge of pricing methodologies, pricing models, and pricing analytics tools.
• Familiarity with the med/tech industry and an understanding of the unique pricing considerations and regulations within the sector.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex pricing concepts and analysis in a clear and concise manner.
• You are proactive, reliable and a real team player.
• High language proficiency in English (spoken & written), other languages would be beneficial.
