The challenge
Today, millions of people worldwide are struggling with their health due to a lack of knowledge about nutrition and poor cooking skills. We aim to change that.
The recipe team's mission is to make it simple to cook healthy food that users love and fit their lifestyle.
We're a small yet passionate team mainly working from Diet Doctor's HQ in Stockholm, doing everything from content production to product development and marketing. We collaborate with talented recipe creators, food photographers, and health professionals from all over the world.
What you'll do
• You'll be the recipe team's gatekeeper, ensuring that everything our users see is as professional and inspirational as possible.
• Proof and edit our recipes, newsletters, collections, social media posts, etc.
• Write video scripts, articles, blurbs, and other food-related copy for our app and website.
• Optimize copy for search engine optimization.

Who you are
• You have probably worked as an editor and copywriter for a significant recipe website, app, food magazine, or book publisher.
• You have a bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, or equivalent
• You have 3+ years of experience writing and editing, with a focus on food
• You are a true foodie who is knowledgeable about cooking
• Native English speaker (DD uses US-based AP style)
• Proven SEO experience
• Eye for details, high standards
• Fast, effective, and collaborative
• Highly organized and able to work independently
• We are looking for someone located in either Stockholm, North America, or Canada.
