Senior Financial Process Developer at Scania Financial Services

Scania Financial Services is serving customers, dealers and distributors in 51 markets through 15 captive business units with financing and insurance solutions. In markets where we operate Financial Services finance about one third of Scania's sales. Over 700 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 100.000 trucks, buses, coaches and trailers representing around 55 bn SEK of assets.

Job description
As the senior process developer for financial process within Financial services (FS) it is your responsibility to coordinate and actively participate in activities internally towards Financial Services Head office as well as business units. Today Scania has a central Process Centre for financial processes across business areas. This organization drives part of the development need as well as our own wish to improve our financial processes.

This role should as much as possible strive for process harmonisation and efficiency in the area of finance and administration across financial services business units. But as the financial processes are not isolated from the rest of the business, you are expected to take a broader perspective than only financial processes, when looking at developments. You will be leading and working with both close and remote project groups, work with different cultures and countries and change management.

Job requirements
We are looking for someone who is driven and self-motivated, takes own initiatives, a communicator, service and problem solution oriented, accurate and a good negotiator. We think that you have a university degree in finance or similar and knowledge acquired through working experience.

Your principle duties includes:
• Act on assignments within Financial Services or the Scania central Process Centre related to continuous improvements of financial processes
• You are the single point of contact regarding all financially related projects and need to be up to date on time plans to avoid collisions of activities
• Discuss and agree assignments with the central Process Centre to ensure that assignments deliver business benefits and return on investment to Financial services
• Lead projects/assignments
• Act as single point of contact towards the central Process Centre
• Be the ambassador between central initiatives and our business units to get buy in and acceptance for new assignments/projects
• Participate in the steering of different projects related to financial process developments.

You have experience from the leasing and financing business and knowledge particularly in the finance and administration area. If you have experience from the Lean methodology and improvement philosophy, it is seen as beneficial. You have worked with project management experience, and preferably with PPS. The job does not include any personnel responsibility but will require skills to manage people in projects. We also think that you are fluent in Swedish as well as English.
