What you will do.
As a Logistics Engineer within Outbound Network Design you will be responsible to drive network optimization initiatives from idea generation to implementation in order to achieve the most optimized distribution from a cost, service and sustainability perspective. In this job, key is to establish and leverage strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This function is critical in the success of managing the finished vehicle distribution, and in assuring that vehicles are delivered to customers on time, every time, and with good quality.

You have proven knowledge and experience in Logistics Engineering and Network Design and strong project management skills and experience from cross-functional projects. You have strong analytical capabilities as well as great communication skills that you use to build close collaboration in projects. Your strong problem-solving approach make it possible to drive results and create value to Volvo Cars group with a high level of business insight and innovation.

You have a university degree within engineering or Business education with in major in Supply Chain Management and is fluent in English. Experience from Power BI and/or Tableau, Excel, Network Design Tools, Transport Management Systems is seen as an advantage.
