hela Sverige We are looking for an experienced senior developer with a demonstrated history of working in the IT and services industry. You will be working with dynamic teammates on developing capabilities utilizing containers to deploy highly available applications. You will join a team responsible for ensuring and enabling highly available and high-performance inter-service communication for both synchronous and asynchronous communication. The team heavily uses hosted services from AWS such as EKS and API Gateway and hosts a Kafka distributed streaming platform in the cloud.
We expect you to be a high performing, free thinking individual who is not afraid of asking questions. You need to be a team player, working in larger teams where you support your team member and product owner.

You have an ability to dive deep into various hands-on solutions while developing new solutions/services and make strong contributions in architectural discussions.
You possess strong technical and communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics to user stories and tasks, work together with team members in all phases of development cycle. You will be part of the Architecture Chapter within IT Development. Selected candidate will be based in Malmö or one of our locations in Warsaw and Copenhagen. Let's achieve great things together.

The candidate has several years of experience working as a lead senior developer.
Key responsibilities
• Hands on experience in SW development using required technology stack
• Maintaining quality by ensuring thoroughness in all of the steps of the development, focusing on automation
• Undertake code reviews
• Implementing non-functional requirements
• Security is taken seriously since it's a bank and should always be in focus & prior.
• Take or call for actions when quality flaws are discovered
• To work with APIs and API Gateway product
• To design (Low level) and implement gateway policies - e.g. for exposing APIs, automation of API ecosystem.
• Ensure that the implementations are aligned with the Enterprise Architectural roadmap and overall Ikano guidelines and target architecture
Experience & Skills
• Development experience working with APIs and API Gateway product.
• Advanced knowledge of the implementation of API service architectures (SOAP, REST) with one of the market-leading API management tools such as AWS API Gateway and/or Kong and/or WSO2 and/or Apigee, etc.,
• Strong Knowledge of SOAP, REST, JMS architecture Concepts and PUB/SUB Pattern.
• Extensive experience in Java, RESTful micro services using Spring Boot.
• General cloud architecture experience with AWS
• Agile methodologies (we practice Scrum and follow SAFe framework)
• Fluent in English - both spoken and written!
• Ability to work in a team and within Ikano Bank's values
Added Advantage
• Experience with monitoring tools like ELK/Prometheus/Grafana preferred
• General DevSecOps Experience a plus
• A Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) is a plus
• CloudFormation service for infra as a code
• Experience from banking, insurance or other high security business
