For the Network Operations team we are now looking for an experienced and ambitious
Senior DDI Network Engineer (f/m/d)
for one of our offices in Stockholm, Berlin, Hamburg, Gliwice, Katowice or Amsterdam.
Your Job as a Senior DDI Network Engineer (f/m/d)
In your role you will primarily perform operational task on our internal/external DNS and DHCP solution (IPAM) as a member of the DDI core team as part of the Network department. Besides that, you will be integrated in several other Network related tasks/projects.
Operation/administration of our Enterprise DDI system (internal and external domains) incl. related continuous quality assurance and IPAM documentation
Develop specific DNS/DHCP solutions, like DNSSEC, reporting, security monitoring, technical roadmaps
Support of our internal customer in any DDI related topics like usage of REST APIs
Maintain the DDI system in accordance with our supporting partner and our internal and external IP masterplan
External cooperation with our support partners and DNS registrars
Internal cooperation with WEB team / data center department; AD/Mail team; Security Operations Center (SOC)
Validate root cause analyses provided by our sourcing partner after a critical incident occurred
Leading small projects and initiatives in the wider area of IPAM/DDI - like integration of DDI functionality (automation) into hyperscale
Join the on-call
Business trips from time to time required within an international team
Your Profile as a Senior DDI Network Engineer (f/m/d)
You are able to work on bachelor/university level, open minded and willing to learn
You spent at least 5 years with main focused, responsible DDI operation (plan/build/run), including wide conceptional knowledge in the area of internal/external DNS and DHCP (preferably vitalQIP or at least with another market leading enterprise grade solution like Infoblox)
You have specific knowledge in implementing DNSSEC and related operational experience is a must
You have a remarkable practical experience in professional IT operations, preferrable in the wider area of data center and office network
You gained first experience in steering smaller projects and you are able to present first footprints left
You have an independent, autonomous and systematic workstyle while being a team player as well
You have an open communicator style towards stakeholders on several levels (customers, IT department, suppliers/external partners, management)
Fluent English skills (spoken and written) are a must have
Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills as well as a service-oriented way of working
Programming skills, preferrable Python3
Operational experiences with ITIL processes (incident, change, problem, asset management)
