Description
The client is looking for a Senior Data Engineer. This role involves working with stakeholders to identify the required architecture, (technical) data governance, and technical considerations associated with a Data Warehouse implementations for a large enterprise organization. It will involve producing technical documentation and providing advice that will cover the various aspects of the rollout.
Mandatory competence and experience:
• Databricks, Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Ware housing, Data Modeling (both traditional and DW-oriented), SQL Query optimization & tuning, Azure DevOps CI/CD, Data Governance (technical enforcement and implementation), SQL, DAX
• 7+ years of experience in hands on DWH and 5+ years experience in Azure
• 5+ years of experience in architecting and implementing DWH.
• Experience in working with classified data and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in using and possibly implementing Data Governance-tools in a DWH setting.
Preferred competence and experience:
• Power BI, Spark / Kafka
