About the company
Ports Group is a fast-growing and profitable SaaS company in the Brand Tech segment. Ports Group has a unique position in the market with 25 years of digitalization experience as an ICANN-accredited registrar and with comprehensive offering in trademark protection with software and services in Trademark Protection, Domain Management and Web Security.
At the center of the offer is the customer platform Ports Management where our customers can manage their entire trademark portfolio. In the platform, domains, trademark ownership and web security products are handled. With the help of Ports Groups monitoring services, the customers immaterial rights and exclusivity are secured.
What does a day at the company look like?
The Senior Controller will oversee and manage the organization's financial operations. They will work closely with the executive leadership to provide strategic financial planning and analysis. The Senior Controller will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and policies, and managing the day-to-day financial activities of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide financial guidance to the executive leadership team in support of strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for the organization, and monitor actual results against budget.
• Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure adequate liquidity.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available to support decision-making.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
Who are you?
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Must have strong knowledge in Excel and preferably also PowerBI.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, and experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and communicate key financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
It is also important to us that you both speak and write fluent Swedish and English, as we have customers in Sweden and abroad.
The Senior Controller is a critical role in the organization and will play a key role in driving the company's financial success. The controller will be a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and a proven track record of success in managing financial operations in a complex organization.
