Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions.
Our values - customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste - are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.
This Is Us
At Scania, we are on a journey to transform and optimize processes through smart automation. Our team, IXBA, is Scania's internal process automation function, dedicated to identifying, designing, and delivering automation solutions that create real business impact.
We are a dynamic, high-energy team of business developers, solution architects, and IT specialists, working together to drive scalable automation initiatives. Collaboration, innovation, and a passion for efficiency fuel our success. We move fast, support each other, and turn ideas into action-while having fun along the way!
Now, we're looking for a Senior Business Developer to join us in leading Scania's digital transformation through automation.
Role Summary
As a Senior Business Developer in Process Automation, you will play a key role in shaping automation strategies, guiding business stakeholders, and driving automation initiatives from idea to implementation. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, requiring the ability to translate business needs into scalable, high-value automation solutions.
You will work closely with leaders across the organization, helping them identify automation opportunities, build strong business cases, and execute initiatives that drive efficiency and innovation. Additionally, you will contribute to the overall development of the automation function, ensuring continuous growth and alignment with Scania's broader digitalization goals.

Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, contributing to both strategic direction and team development.
Stay at the forefront of automation technologies, leveraging tools such as RPA, Low-Code, Process Mining, and Virtual Assistants to optimize processes.
Who You Are
We are looking for a proactive and strategic thinker who is passionate about automation and digital transformation. You bring a structured approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to simplify complex challenges.
You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you can take ownership, drive progress, and deliver real business value. You are also an excellent communicator, capable of bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions.
Your qualifications include:
Proven experience in process automation, business development, or digital transformation.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as RPA, Low-Code, Process Mining, or Virtual Assistants.
A structured and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on long-term value and scalability.
The ability to adapt quickly, take initiative, and inspire teams toward innovation and efficiency.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds - your unique experience and perspectives is valuable to us.
