hela Sverige The mission of the Global Audit Office (GAO) is to provide objective assurance and advisory services to management and the Board of Directors to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Company operations and assist the Company and its subsidiaries in achieving objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve business process execution, risk management, and governance.
VCC GAO Office
The VCC GAO team is currently looking for a Senior Business Auditor join the audit team. The GAO is an independent organization within VCC, responsible for conducting internal business process and IT audits within VCC Globally, and highlighting identified control deficiencies. It is also the responsibility of the department to support a sustainable control environment within the Company. As the scope of the team is the Global control environment within VCC, the position requires both domestic and international travel, up to 30% of the work is away from the office. The team consists of an seven employees in Gothenburg supported by a dealer auditor in Germany.
Responsibilities:
Planning and completing internal audits according to audit calendar.
Based on an annual audit plan, review existing procedures and controls and reporting systems and develop formal recommendations to the Management where improvements are warranted.
During the audit conduct status meetings with the auditee to keep them updated on audit status and listen to their concerns.
Draft audit reports that provide the auditee with clear and concise contents and practical audit recommendations for corrective action to be taken.
Review of Corrective actions for identified control weaknesses, follow up to ensure that issues have been properly implemented by the auditee management and that a sustainable control process have been established.
Desired Qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Extensive accounting experience required.
Audit experience desired.
Strong communication skills; effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills and skill in presenting findings and recommendations.
Skill in collecting and analysing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions.
Skill in using a computer with word processing, spreadsheet and other business software to prepare work papers, reports and analyses.
Skill in planning and project management .
Fluent in English
