Risk Analysis and Control is a part of Group Treasury which is Volvo Cars internal bank and responsible for the financial risk management. This includes all funding activities and risk management of currency, interest rates and commodity price risk. Group Treasury is also responsible for all cash management activities within Volvo Cars.
Risk Analysis and Control is responsible for risk measurement methodology, analysis of financial risks, risk control of formal Group Treasury policy requirements for Volvo Cars and has an overall responsibility for Treasury related systems. As a Senior Financial Risk Analyst you will be responsible for the Treasury related systems and participate in the daily work at Risk Analysis and Control.
Job description
* Be responsible for Treasury System development and implementation
* Responsible for treasury related systems including AvantGard Quantum, Misys, Bloomberg, 360T, Crystal Reports, market data imports, security access
* Be responsible for reporting functionality of the TMS
* Work with VCC IT (IT Application Manager) to create and update system configuration and maintenance procedures and to ensure systems processes and interfaces are functioning properly
* Use financial theory, quantitative techniques, and systems expertise to help the company define, measure, and ultimately manage its financial risk
* Participate in and run projects to develop the Group Treasury organization
* Participate in enhancing risk analysis and reporting processes
* Monitor limits, maintain limit framework and escalate limit breach to management
* Monitor, follow up, analyze and report interest, foreign exchange and counterparty risk
* Follow up and analyse performance/result for the Treasury department
Who are we looking for
* Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Engineering with 5-10 years relevant work experience
* Familiarity with Treasury Operations and Cash Management
* Experience from Treasury systems and Crystal report writing
* Robust knowledge of IT infrastructure and databases
* High integrity and distinct communication skills
* Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach
* Ability to take own initiative and solve issues
* Target oriented, works towards and delivers results
* Fluent in Swedish and English, verbally and written
