What we offer
Electric Driveline department is responsible for development of Electric Machines, Transmissions, Inverters, Drive Shafts and Engine suspension. Here you will join our journey to develop sustainable pure electric drivelines for our future cars. Our team is responsible for analysis and verification of in-house developed Electric Driveline components. We have an ambition to become leading in Electric Drivelines.
We have high focus on method development to improve the fidelity of the testing and automatization of data analysis. With a Road to Lab to Math strategy we strive to reduce the need for vehicle testing to replace it with laboratory testing and CAE models.
We are a diverse team of 17 analysis engineers where we foster a creative learning culture. Our mission is to secure that Volvo delivers products with an excellent quality. What you will do
Your work will mainly be in-house testing. We are responsible of both testing in test beds as well as vehicles. You will furthermore design, prepare, plan, and perform tests and measurements in test bench and vehicle alongside in-depth analysis of measurement data and tested components.
You will also:
• Contribute to up-to-date requirements and input to design changes and improve CAE models according to findings in testing.
• Follow market trends within measurement technology and testing.
• Work with continuous development of test and analysis methods to improve work efficiency.
What you will bring
We are looking for a person with an analytic mind that love problem solving alongside a background as a BSc or higher in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical engineering.
You also need knowledge and several years' experience in data analytics as you will drive our automized analyses to the next level. For example, programming experience, in Python, MATLAB and/or Sympathy.
Further competences are needed for this position of documented practical experience to perform testing and analysis.
For this position you will need to have a driving license B valid in Sweden!
