Accounting Business Partner is the central accounting function for all entities of E.ON in Sweden. The primary mission of the department is to secure financial compliance for quarterly reporting to the E.ON SE group in Germany, prepare the group financial statement of E.ON Sweden and produce annual statutory reports for all legal entities.

As Senior Accounting Specialist you will support the business and respective Accounting Manager in complex accounting related topics. You will be responsible for interpretation and impact assessment that changes in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and local GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards may have to our different energy businesses in Sweden.

In this, you will also be able to apply your leadership skills, mainly by leading and independently running various projects.

The role requires deep knowledge in international and Swedish accounting framework but an absolute necessity is your ability to transform this knowledge into financial support for our businesses. As you will work with multidimensional interfaces it?s vital that you?re able to cooperate and interact with colleagues and partners on all levels in the organisation. You need to have a high degree of customer and service orientation and high integrity, with the ability to take a stand and be able to argue for your opinion.

Qualifications

Essential
Holds a Master degree in Business Administration or equivalent
Significant experience in qualified accounting, preferably from audit firm or major international business.
Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge in IFRS (International Financial Reporting Service) and K3 (K3 is 1 of 4 tiers of financial reporting in Sweden).
Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Desirable
Proven excellent leadership skills
Previous experience from the Energy sector is seen as an advantage but not a requirement
Fluent in Swedish, both written and spoken
