The Role
We are now looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to our Finance team in Stockholm who will ensure our financial flows and qualitative financial reports.
You will work with internal and external stakeholders and be responsible for the daily bookkeeping activities. Together with the Head of Finance, you will continue the work to build a modern Finance function and you will be a central part of developing the reporting- and reconciliation structures. You will be a key player when we move the monthly accounting close from outsourced to inhouse.
You will report to the Head of Finance and Business Control.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including journal entries, reconciliations, follow up, reports, tax declarations, statistics, and overall maintenance of operational management accounts.
• Preparation of monthly financial reports, including the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement.
• Assist in preparing KPI, budgets and forecasts as well as ad hoc projects.
• Communication and follow up with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and drive best practices within the finance function regarding financial control, compliance, and up-to-date accounting standards.
• Play a key role in developing processes and implementing an ERP-system within the function.
To be successful in this role
• You have relevant experience from accounting (4-7 years of experience working with accounting)
• You have relevant knowledge within the tax area and experience of K3.
• You have proven ability to analyze data and interpret information effectively to improve processes continuously.
• You are a social, communicative, open-minded, and ambitious team player. You take own initiatives and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• You can manage deadlines and you pay attention to detail and accuracy.
• You have the ability to reflect on the impact of financial decisions for the business
• You are proficient in excel and IT. Experience from implementing an ERP system is beneficial.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English
• You want to work in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment, since the business is under the start-up phase, your work tasks will not be static.
