You will be directly responsible for the account management of some of the properties in the area, or of selected chains.
You will create quantity and quality reports on results and performance, reporting to the Area Manager on improving hotel availability and supply and supporting Booking.com in meeting the demands of the visitors on the Booking.com website.
You and your team advise properties about all aspects of achieving high performance on the Booking.com website, and provide them with the (initial) training on how to use Booking.com's system.
This position can be offered as a temporary assignment of 1,5 years or as a permanent position. You will be based in our Stockholm office.
B.responsible
• Manage and establish a team of Account Managers and Coordinators;
• Provide constant feedback, support and motivation to your team;
• Hold regular meetings, 1:1's, performance and appraisal reviews;
• Work closely (with Area Manager & other Senior Account Managers) to set priorities, targets, schedules and development plans for your team and others, to optimize efficiency and results.
• Increase team's knowledge by establishing guidelines, best practices. training materials and workshops;
• Direct account management for properties in an appointed region, or of selected chains;
• Visit your area's key partners with your Account Managers;
• Responsibility for your team's account management of all partners, and for increasing their performance (Extranet training and support, availability, pricing, content etc.)
• Organize and coordinate Trade Fair, mobile office visits to liaise with properties;
• Promote the Booking.com BV brand name and its online reservation services to engage new properties;
• To be versatile and adapt quickly to the latest guidelines from Booking.com BV.
• Initiate and test improvements on existing procedures or processes;
• Establish strong working relationships throughout the business and beyond.
B.skilled
• Experience in a Sr. Account Manager position: people-management experience, with ability to drive and influence your immediate team, and other internal/external stakeholders;
• Experience in building relationships, identifying market specifics, detecting opportunities, account management, change management and delivering partner satisfaction;
• Pro-active, friendly and ability to work independently or within team;
• Quick and resourceful, with accurate, strong business, communication, presentation, and analytical skills and a creative mind;
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, focusing on company priorities and delivering results under deadline;
• Flexible, positive, self-motivated attitude; solutions-focused with a willingness to take ownership/assume responsibility;
• University background preferred;
• Fluent English speaker and writer;
• Availability to travel up to 50% of the time, depending on business needs.
• You already have a valid work permit for Sweden.
