We are in the process of establishing a Cyber Security Fusion Center (CSFC) in Gothenburg for the European market.
For the CSFC we are now looking for different roles where Security technicians L1 are one.
Responsibilities
• Monitoring of Security Device alerts and opening tickets after validating them as per customer process using the templates.
• Monitoring the ITSM queue and ensuring the tickets are being addressed.
• Monitor the IPS alerts and open tickets where warranted.
• Log Monitoring with proper investigation and well documented mail communication.
• Daily/weekly/monthly monitoring sheet to be updated to reflect current data / date and sent within team on a daily basis, generation of ADHOC reports.
• Escalate to L2 for if any assistance/remediation is required
Skills :
Education and / or Experience Recommended:
Bachelor degree in IT
Professional/Technical Competencies:
Mandatory:
• 2-5 years of hand-on experience in operation and management of security infrastructure.
• Should be willing to work in 24x7 shifts.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, VISIO and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills with the demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with peers and communicate at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to provide Tier 1 support and manage L1 level and monitoring tickets in production environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate (both written & oral) clearly with various internal stakeholders and customer.
• Any technical certification will be an advantage.
