Perfect! We are happy to announce that we are looking for a Sales Structure Specialist Industrial for our Price Management and Sales Information team at Volvo Penta. Volvo Penta is right now developing our sales offer through electromobility, automation and connectivity, which means that we have a challenging but exciting future ahead of us!
This is the new challenge:
Your main responsibility as Sales Structure Specialist will be to set up the product sales structure, including technical and market rules, for industrial applications in Volvo Penta's sales configurator. You will take an active part in product development projects and work in close co-operation with many departments within the company, such as Product & Solutions Development, Sales Engineering and Product Planning. The people you work with are mainly based in Sweden but also other parts of the world.
We are right now replacing our current sales configurator. This means that you will play an important role in the development of the new configurator and the set-up of our current and future sales offer in the new tool.
Furthermore, in this role you will support many parts of the company - e.g. the markets with configuration related issues in the sales configurator, Product Planning and the logistics department with sales structure related issues, Application engineers concerning drawings and technical data, and Global Aftermarket concerning installation related information. You will also maintain sales related information in Volvo Penta's web-based Sales Support Tool and update Volvo Penta's Product Master Data Management application, PMDM.

We are a team of six people with a mix of women and men at different ages, working with Price Management and Sales Information for both the Industrial and Marine segments in our head office in Lundby in Gothenburg.
We have high ambitions, but a warm atmosphere and strive to have fun at work, and always have time for a good laugh. Nowadays everybody is not in the office every day, but we make sure to stay in contact through virtual "fikas" a couple of times per week and face-to-face group meetings. From time to time we also meet outside of work for a visit to a restaurant or for a "kräftskiva", and right before summer we had a tough competition in shuffleboard.
And this is you. At least we think so.
We believe you are structured, have an attention for details and a drive to explain complicated things in an easy-to-understand manner. You are analytical, enjoy problem solving and are comfortable with working in IT systems. To be successful in this position we also believe that you are outgoing, as well as independent and used to taking your own initiatives. Your co-operative skills and networking competence is of great value since you will be in contact with many people within our organization.
We believe that you also have good knowledge in engine technology, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and have good communication skills in English and preferably Swedish.
It would be an advantage if you have:
Experience of Volvo Penta's product offering - especially in the Industrial segment
Experience of Volvo Group's Product Development System (KOLA)
Experience of working with sales structure
