What you'll do here...
As Sales & Operations Developer you will be a part of our Demand Planning team that generates Axis product sales forecast on a global level. In your role you will primary work with development of our forecasting analyses, methods and systems, being an expert data analysis. In addition, you will also be responsible for forecasting a product category on a monthly basis. To create a forecast, you need to analyse
historical data, interpret changes in market demand, understand product demand variability, and identify demand patterns among other activities. This part of your role will also be highly useful when developing our systems, analyses and methods - understanding Axis business, our processes, requirements and needs. You will work closely with several other functions across organisational borders, e.g. with Material Supply, Product Management, Sales and Finance.
Your duties will include:
Develop our forecasting analyses and systems for Demand Planning e.g., Qlik Sense, IFS, Demand Planner and Excel
Contribute and take a leading role in the continuous forecast process and method development
Be a useful and competence developing resource in digitalization pilots and projects
Investigate how AI and Machine Learning can be used to improve forecasting
Develop market and product knowledge and tracking trends
System-aided forecasting and planning
This is a permanent position located in Lund, starting ASAP. You will report to the Demand Planning Manager.

We believe that you are a person with a strong personal drive who easily co-operates across organizational borders. We believe you are an open-minded and socially skilled individual who is eager to learn and develop your skills. You are a team player but also thrive working independently, planning your own activities. Furthermore, you are fluent in both English and Swedish (verbal and written). You enjoy a high pace, are structured and make things happen. Your analytical ability is sharp and you think big. You are a person who can dive into the data, yet surface to be able to speak about your conclusions compellingly and effectively. As a Sales & Operations Developer you are as much a storyteller as a data and analysis guru. You are an advanced Excel user with experience of working with IT-systems/applications within supply chain, preferably within forecasting. Digitalization is your friend and you embrace development and new ideas.
We believe that you have:
A Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Business and Economics
3-5 years' experience from supply chain disciplines in an international environment
A strong interest in data analysis and systems development
Excellent understanding of business and market dynamics
Experience in working with system and/or analysis development
Strong interest for AI and Machine Learning

Forecasting is a core function in enabling Axis growth. By supporting our supply chain with the right prerequisites in terms of forecasting and predicting future demand, we want to ensure product availability to our customers to maximize revenues in the marketplace.
The Demand Planning team is a small collaborative team of 6 people operating and interpreting on a global level.
