Your role
Designing, developing and implementing sales strategies and plans to support the organization's products and business objectives. Additionally you will be responsible for the management and development of your sales team in order to meet required objectives and targets.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
SALES MANAGEMENT
• Developing a long-term sales plan in accordance with the Dechra strategy
• Provide and execute a year sales plan in accordance with the determined budget for your area
• Ensure delivery of sales KPI's through effective objective setting and monitoring and utilizing ethical sales methods to achieve the business unit sales targets
• Visiting key growth accounts on regular basis to develop sales within agreed profit margins in order to maximize new and existing business opportunities
• Analyzing data, identifying trends and reporting findings and recommendations to the Country Manager

CUSTOMERS & MARKETS:
• Ensure Dechra's strategies are in-line with market developments and expectations in order to maximize sales and our and product portfolios
• Work closely and collaboratively with key accounts customers to ensure acceptable solutions are delivered that meet or exceed customer expectations
• Analyzing current sales and possible future potential clients
• Strengthening the position of Dechra within the Swedish market

PEOPLE
• Managing the sales team to ensure completion of agreed goals
• Responsible for team performance, coaching and development of the sales team
• Setting SMART objectives in consultation with your direct reports in accordance with your annual plan
• Conducting biannual performance reviews with your direct reports
• Motivating the sales team to reach their sales targets
• Supporting your direct reports personal development requirements
• Management of activities and tasks, including delegation of responsibilities where required. Supervising the execution of activities in a qualitative way, monitoring progress and analyzing results
• Promote and encouraging open and effective communications within the sales team

FINANCE
• Being cost contentious and margin driven
• Monitoring the expenses in accordance with the budget
• Establishing prices according to the budget and market situation

Required Skills /Knowledge
• Higher education or degree within a the area of Veterinary Medicine, Medicine, Pharmacology, Biology or Chemistry etc.
• Preferable degree in General Business
• Preferable current relevant working experience in the animal health industry
• Ability to develop key and beneficial relationships with stakeholders
• Excellent commercial networking approach to enable the growth of the business
• Ability to structure and organize effectively and deliver to deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
• Good verbal and written English
• Willingness to travel within Sweden and occasionally abroad to attend international meetings
• Will be required to be based in the area of Mälardalen
