Job Summary

This position will report to the Head of Business Finance BU Media and will be a member of the BU Media Business Finance Leadership Team, actively contributing to the BU?s total financial objectives. Additionally this position will specifically support BU Media sales organization.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Based on a solid understanding of our customers, markets and portfolio the Sales Controllers main responsibilities include:

o Contribute to decision forums with financial perspective
o Develop a deep understanding of the business in the regions, including the key customers and deals, and the critical issues driving business volumes, margins, and cash
o Actively support sales organization for business success and risk mitigation including Terms & Conditions, profitability levels as well as suggest and drive corrective actions for improved business results
o Understand our competitive landscape, including price positioning and cost advantage/disadvantage and recommend actions for improved competitiveness
o Involvement and review of Pre sales (SDP2 & 3)
o Take an active role in structuring, innovating, and advising on alternative business models
o Take an active part in decisions throughout the sales process, including pricing and profitability levels, T&C, cash-flow, structure of customer contracts, and customer financing
o Manage business portfolio and BU P&L impact especially for investment deals.
o Monitor Ericsson market share and market position to understand long term impact on Ericsson P&L
o Steer units financial, capital resource and target framework
o Drive the BU-Region financial target-setting process
o Support Sales Process and Financial Process adherence
o Support Business Management in region interaction regarding financial issues
o Steer Commercial Performance Management
o Drive and monitor target fulfillment in co-operation with BM and BU Controller
o Maximize profitable growth through active involvement in sales process
o Ensure profitable execution of contracted business
