hela Sverige Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. Risk Management is part of the Group Risk Management function which also includes Internal Control and Business Continuity. We are currently looking for a Risk Manager to support Scania across all segments and areas within Scania. The position is located in the Scania Headquarters in Södertälje, Sweden.
The Risk Management function supports the global Scania organisation in managing risks by providing knowledge in terms of policies, guidelines, trainings, reporting and advice and by assisting the organisation in designing structures, methods and processes to protect and create value and to ensure a reasonable risk exposure.
This role will give the right candidate the possibility to influence and develop the organisation and offer the unique opportunity to address risks from a holistic perspective in all Scania activities throughout the world.
Main responsibilities:
• Act as an expert and provide guidance to Scania's global organisation within risk management
• Laws and regulations within risk management with special focus on non-financial reporting (e.g. CSRD)
• Drive change and development initiatives within risk management
• Facilitate and conduct complex risk assessments (qualitative and quantitative)
• Be responsible for the risk reporting process
Your profile:
We assume that you have a solid experience in risk management and a proven record of successful managed change and development initiatives which have required complex stakeholder management. We expect for you to have a strong business skill which you will use to protect as well as create value as develop processes and governance structures to meet requirements within regulations and recommendations in practical ways of working. You are comfortable in transforming data analytics into structured and actionable information to C-suite management. You have experience from different areas within risk management such as strategic, finance, legal and operational risks.
We are looking for a person who has high integrity and an open-minded approach towards your tasks. You have strong analytical skills regarding risk management as well as an innovative mindset where you see improvement and development needs combined with a clear customer focus.
Requirements:
• An academic background within a relevant area
• Experience of transforming laws and regulations into corporate risk governance and practical ways of working through processes and methods
• A minimum of 7 years' experience with risk management, preferably from an international company
• Knowledge in digital and data driven ways of working, experience with implement and maintain GRC software solutions will be beneficial
• Fluency in both written and spoken English, additional language skills are advantages
• The position may, in the future, require international travels
