In the past 6 years Klarna has branched out to Scandinavia and Europe. Being faced with rapid expansion we need even more competent and driven staff to help us on our way. This is why the Reporting & Monitoring team is currently looking for future stars!
Klarna?s risk department?s main responsibility is to handle and mitigate Klarna?s different exposures to risk, making it an essential part of the organization, by applying sophisticated decision models and follow-up techniques.
The Reporting & Monitoring team?s responsibility is split into two parts; one part consists of following certain key risk indicators, the other part consists of project based work and ad-hoc analysis. You will constantly be challenged with new and exciting work tasks and the results will often play a vital role in Klarna?s decision making process.
Your main responsibilities will consist of:
• Constantly strive to develop data sources and its contents in order to ensure data quality
• Get acquainted with new tools for handling large data sets, as well as exploring new solutions and techniques
• Develop and design innovative reports to highlight areas of risk emerging due to new market conditions.
• Maintaining existing reports and deliver results to concerned parties in order to improve the performance of different areas of the business
• Perform analysis and ad-hoc investigations and present the results to all levels of the organization, ranging from the risk department, sales and marketing and all the way up to the board room
The analyst we are looking for:
• Has a strong analytical mindset
• Is comfortable working with numbers
• Has an ability to see solutions where others see dead ends
• Has professional ambition and desire to fast development
• Is a strong team player
• Has an interest in data mining and handling large data sets
• Strong presentation skills
Preferred additional experiences:
• SAS
• SQL
• Experience from consumer credit and e-commerce
