To improve the position of the agents in the market: setting a fixed competitive exchange rate, being careful in mantaining a competible exchange rate, providing advertising media to optimize the image of the agents, solving doubts or helping them use the computer application.
• To investigate the exchange rates of the competition:
Calling the competition.
On internet (for example: Moneygram 's web site)
Asking agents who work with the competition or our own agencies.
• Assing the day rates in the system according to: the agent 's "level", the country, the correspondent...
Examples of the agent "levels" (aplication of the different rates):
Level 1: agent near to Omnex, Mundial Envíos (very competitive rate)
Level 2: agent near to Europhil, Dinero Express
Level 3: agent near to Money Exchange, Montty
Level 4: agent near to Moneygram, Western Union (not competitive rate)
Depending on the commission implemented by each payer (correspondent), the rate will change.
• To attend the customers in the assigned area (6 areas) by phone, trying to solve their doubts and/or problems in a daily basis, inform them about the comissions and charges to the customers, give to the agents the recommendation to obtain more benefits from their bussines....
• Follow the "Welcome" procedure: providing the cookies and passwords to the user, creating the configuration of the agent in the system and sending to every agent the "Welcome Pack".
• To monitor the evolution of the agents: keeping regular contact with them when their activity is diminishing or when we have information about the activity of RIA agent with the competition.
• To asses the satisfaction of the agent with the company service.
• Support European countries in configurating the agents and in the comissions applications.
• Check in the Google Earth the locations of the main agents and their nearest competitors on the map, to ascribe the best exchange rate possible.
• To do periodic reports for the Managment: daily production (number of transfers)/country, production/agent, production/geographic area...etc. in order to undertake the right action for the development of it.
• Improve the exchange rate according to the agent request: comparative with the competition rates, distance , production/potential of the agent ....
• Take note about the most frequents comments of the agents (New Accounts en "Notes")
• To control the archiving of the documents of the customers.
• To do the correspondent report for the Legal Department with the information about the agent closed.
Qualifications - External:
High managment of the informatic tool (particulary Excel)
• Excelent understanding of the managment of the exchange rates and the effects over the activity that these changes can have.
• High valuable: knowelege about "Revenue/Yield management": "The challenge is to sell the right resources to the right customer at the right time for the right price"
• Speak English and Swedish is Request.
• Speak Arabic is Request.
