We are now growing our global team with an experienced Reward Partner in Gothenburg. The role is a permanent position, with great potential to be the start of a fruitful career at AstraZeneca!

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The position offers fantastic opportunities for development as you will be taking a leading role in AstraZeneca's Reward agenda for Sweden, as well as contributing to global Reward & Inclusion projects. Key responsibilities include:

* Continuously engages with business to provide insight and analysis that will ensure that AZ remains competitive in its ability to hire and retain the best talent in Sweden.
* Delivers and maintains local total reward practices and policies in line with global standards with the aim to attract and retain talent
* Interpret local legislative changes, assess local impact and propose solutions
* Ensure country practices are within the Global AZ governance framework, leading proposals through the process, providing local mentorship on governance requirements, and by keeping the Reward Director updated on developments with a governance implication.
* Undertakes salary negotiations with unions / social partners in conjunction with other in-country HR resources. Takes the lead in identifying and communicating the key points of AZ position on in-country reward as part of negotiation process.
* Provide local compensation insights and analysis based on external trends
* Local compliance analysis and reporting as required e.g. equal pay analysis
* Plan and deliver the annual compensation review for the country/region.
* Use training & education material provided by global team to increase reward knowledge across business leaders and the HR function
* Conduct in-country benchmarking on reward provision

Essential Requirements

You are the ideal candidate if you express a high level of integrity and are comfortable engaging in difficult or challenging discussions to deliver the right reward outcome.

* Expert knowledge of compensation and benefits policies, and able to act as the key point of contact and as a trusted advisor for senior HR and business stakeholders in the country
* Significant experience in delivering compensation practices in a large, complex multinational company in Sweden
* Able to run and execute multiple complicated projects simultaneously
* Educated to Degree Level
* Able to prioritise activities when workload increases, identifying strategies to balance in this circumstance.
* Experience of handling contracts with third party suppliers
* Well-developed people skills and ability to engage, influence and negotiate with major partners and internal clients
* HRIS systems experience helpful but not a prequisite
