hela Sverige As a Retail Sales Specialist you are responsible for improving the positioning of Sony Digital Imaging in retail. Your focus is to make sure our assigned retailers fully understand all features, functionality and the customer benefits of Sony Digital Imaging products. We are looking for a charismatic person with organizing skills and a strong interest in photography. You will visit stores in the western part of Sweden and have Gothenburg as a base.
JOB OBJECTIVES
• Cooperate closely with Sales and Marketing to train sales staff and implement a successful marketing strategy for Sony Digital Imaging products
• Conduct sessions in proper form and level, dedicated to target audience.
• Convince and convey competitiveness of Sony products by key selling points, focusing on benefits for Consumers, while understanding competitors' products and appropriate benchmarking.
• Convert Technical content towards commercial content /consumer benefits.
• Be an ambassador for the Sony brand and its Brand Strategy.
• Boost and facilitate sell-in in the photo-channel
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand and be up to date on the Digital Imaging electronics market and competitor products
• Understand both Sony and dealers' targets for consumers / shoppers within the channel, and ensure that the training approach is aligned to maximize the impact of communications
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both dealers and other relevant partners
• Develop annual customer by customer training plans and consecutive quarterly plans
• Maintain contacts and make appointments with strategic retailers about training activities
• Participate in training at events, road shows, fairs and exhibitions
YOU HAVE:
• Strong technical knowledge and interest in photography
• Proven experience in training departments and technical sales/marketing
• Experience from retail within consumer electronics and photography
• Excellent communications and presentations skills
• Strong communication skills in English, and preferably in multiple Nordic languages, both written and oral.
• Advanced MS Office skills (PowerPoint/Excel/Word)
