To be successful in this role you preferably have a master's in Business Administration/Finance/Economics, or related field, or extensive experience in the field, and comprehensive experience in strategic decision making forums. You have 7-9 years with increased responsibility in business steering or finance related field, and 5-7 years as a manager with experience in larger international structure. You are appreciated for strong ability to prioritise, provide clear directions and multi-task, and for high proficiency in spoken and written English. Furthermore, you possess INGKA business experience and proven record of successful leadership, developing people and provide support, coaching, training, and career direction to others.

You have knowledge in following areas:
• comprehensive knowledge of the IKEA concept, its Brand identity, Culture & Values and strategic directions
• broad understanding of commercial initiatives and opportunities creating growth
• balancing investments needed for growth with the risk related to those
• strong financial background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting
• comprehensive knowledge of IKEA business, its market and industry; knowledge of INGKA group's core business operations and key interactions between businesses/functions
• broad knowledge of INGKA's business, financial and operational processes, their inter-dependencies and how to work through them
• good understanding of data science, new technologies, analytics and their wide ranging application in business context
• advanced knowledge of how to create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders in INGKA
• good knowledge of project management processes including methods and tools; and how to integrate them
• good knowledge of the customer needs, demands and expectations on the markets

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Business Navigation Business Partner you will navigate the growth and secure sustained profitability of IKEA Group, in line with, and building on the IKEA Group Direction, strategies and customer demands. You will be a pro-active, trustworthy business partner who takes a multi-dimensional view of the business, connecting the needs of customers and the organisation with a complete overview of the profit & loss, and understanding of the balance sheet and cash flow management supporting and challenging the organisation through business-case thinking. You will also take the lead in developing and promoting lean, simple and effective ways of working.
In addition, you will lead, steer and support overall INGKA business performance that is beneficial to people & planet, and protects and adds value to our assets, securing profitable growth and financial independence by providing services, supporting a strong compliance framework, and effective governance to enable entrepreneurship and safeguard our people, customers and businesses.

You will:
• be responsible for leading and co-ordinating the financial business planning process in assigned retail countries, ensuring that the financial plan is aligned with the BPL priorities in the countries while involving and creating commitment among stakeholders when setting the goals
• be responsible for navigating, together with relevant stakeholders, towards growth and sustained profitability, identifying and evaluating business opportunities
• lead a specifically assigned part of the Retail business agenda
• lead & implement together with other relevant stakeholders the Retail business & people agenda with a multi-dimensional view considering market, consumer, customer, commercial, co-worker, financial and operational perspectives
• be responsible for supporting the protection of the IKEA brand through a broad risk and compliance awareness, with balance between opportunities and risks
• lead the change in mind-set to a truly Integrated Multichannel Retail Approach
• secure and maintain a connection with and between the three core businesses, business owners, group functions, process teams within the INGKA Group
• secure cross-organisational readiness and continued business growth in terms of competence, performance and succession through enabling an end-to-end approach
• ensure a safe environment for co-workers and external consultants and contractors in accordance with INGKA policies

In this role you will report to the IKEA Retail Business Navigation Manager.
This role is located in Malmö.

In IKEA Retail we create enhance customer value, good growth and optimise long term business performance for IKEA Retail, by enabling better business decisions, securing efficiency and leading in accordance with financial and business strategies. This includes securing (financial) business performance, a safe and secure environment in compliance with laws, policies and standards and process.
