www.agilent.com.For our site in Sundbyberg, Sweden, we are looking for a remote system engineer for our chromatography and/or spectroscopy portfolio.
In this role, you provide remote post-sales technology support and technical services to external customers and/or internal field personnel utilizing remote diagnostic capabilities. This includes reactive actions that result in a timely and cost effective problem resolution for customer and proactive preventive actions. Occasionally, you will visit customer sites for onsite missions.
Your Responsibilities:
Processing of technical and applicative customer inquiries by telephone, e-mail, or other remote support tools.
Support for Agilent chromatography and/or spectroscopy instruments
Support for Agilent and multi-vendor software platforms
Registration and documentation of the provided support services in the SAP CRM system
Maintaining existing and new internal and publicly accessible knowledge bases to optimize customer support
Prepare the service assignments for our field teams (defining the required repair parts and creating repair recommendations for our sales service engineers)
Active co-operation with colleagues from service, sales and support in the national and international environment
Connection between the field organization and the relevant manufacturing plants or R&D
Regular participation in internal product training and thus ensuring our high-quality standards
Regular on-site customer engagements to deepen and consolidate technical and applicative knowledge
Your qualifications
You have a Bachelors or Masters Degree or equivalent in the field of chemistry, instrumental analysis, geology, biology, food chemistry or a related field.
You have very good theoretical as well as practical knowledge in chromatography, mass spectrometry, or spectroscopy. Previous experience with chromatography data systems software is advantageous.
Practical experience in the laboratory and/or with Agilent equipment is advantageous.
Customer-oriented thinking/experience in dealing with customers.
You can analyze complex facts holistically and communicate them in a comprehensible manner.
You have an affinity for error analysis and advanced troubleshooting.
You have an affinity to computers and software.
You have a good teamworking mentality and enjoy working in an international environment.
Understanding of processes and the skill to follow them.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English is required. Knowledge of following other languages are useful, but not required: Dutch, French, Danish, or Finnish.
You have a valid car driver's license.
