Job description/Mission:
This position will support our Customer Centers (mainly in Africa) to drive and develop the Rock Drilling Tools (RDT) business growth and profitability.

Main responsibilities are:
• Act as the main interface between Customer Centers (CCs) and the Product Companies to ensure that marketing and sales personnel in the CCs have the relevant product, application and business training required.
• Actively support Customer Centers to define and implement market strategies that are relevant for the different countries in the region and on a monthly basis follow their performance.
• Monitor the local activities aligned with the strategy and follow up of the market share, customer share and financial index development reported by CC.
• Together with product management, actively drive new product launch plans and participate in creating sales/volumes forecasts and production planning.

Experience requirements
• Experience in RDT process and products is expected.
- International drilling experience is definite plus.
• Customer center experience is expected.
• Solid experience in sales and marketing would be a strong asset.
• Experience in developing presentation and marketing materials.

Knowledge/Educational requirements
• Engineering degree is desired but other degrees or work experience will be considered, if applicable.
- Previous sales and marketing experience specifically customer center will be considered strongly.
• Excellent MS excel, powerpoint and word skills is expected.
• Financial report and other RDT score card is expected.

Personality requirements
• Team player with strong oral and written communication skills able to support the efforts of the entire department.
- Excellent customer service and coordination skills.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently and extensively.
• Must enjoy working in international, multicultural environment.
• Must be fluent in the English language (knowledge of other languages such as Spanish and others would be considered as an additional asset).

Country and city description
Position will be ideally in the covered region but we will consider other locations, depending upon where and if applicable to our business opportunities.
